Revive is an independent community project that provides free, practical, and integrated support to refugees and people seeking asylum.

Board of Trustees, Finance, and Advisory Committee Mission Statement 

  • We will dedicate ourselves to supporting Revive in delivering the charity's aims within a trust, respect, and shared values framework.
  • We will support and contribute to Revive to secure its mission and sustain its ethos as an independent community project.
  • We will commit ourselves to ensuring that every service user is valued, supported, and empowered within a safe and inspirational environment.

The Role of the Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees share ultimate responsibility for governing Revive CIO, directing how it is managed and run, and providing widespread involvement in issues affecting the service.

It aims to support the conduct of the project, driving high standards and the delivery of continuous improvement in all aspects of the project’s performance.

The board members fulfil their responsibilities by focusing on three core strategic functions:

Ensuring clarity of vision, ethos, and strategic direction.

  • Holding the advisory committee and the manager accountable for the service delivery and performance of the project and its service users and the staff performance management.
  • Overseeing the financial performance of the project and making sure its money is well spent.

The Revive Finance and Advisory Committee 

The Purpose of the Committee

The Committee is the project's non-executive body, mandated by the Board of Trustees, to offer advice and provide widespread involvement in issues affecting Revive.

It aims to support the conduct of the project, driving high standards and the delivery of continuous improvement in all aspects of the project’s performance.

The Committee members fulfil their responsibilities by focusing on three core strategic functions, as directed by the Trustees:

  • Ensuring clarity of vision, ethos, and strategic direction.
  • Holding the manager accountable for the service delivery and performance of the project, its service users, and staff performance management.
  • Overseeing the project's financial performance and ensuring its money is well spent.

At Revive, we have a committed and very active, diverse Board of trustees and advisory Committees of dedicated people from all walks of life who give their time freely and voluntarily.
