The Board of Trustees share ultimate responsibility for governing Revive CIO, directing how it is managed and run, and providing widespread involvement in issues affecting the service.

The board members fulfill their responsibilities by focusing on three core strategic functions:
Ensuring clarity of vision, ethos, and strategic direction.
- Holding the finance and advisory committee and the manager accountable for the service delivery and performance of the project and its service users and the staff performance management.
- Overseeing the financial performance of the project and making sure its money is well spent.
