Proud to run the MCR Half Marathon for Revive and for Refugees

“I am glad I did it for Revive. I was happy that my dad practised and ran the half-marathon with me.” A jubilant Hattie Ditton said after a colourful completion of the Great Manchester Run, Sunday 28th May 2017.
Hattie ran the half-marathon for her favourite Charity, Revive and for Refugees and people seeking asylum in the UK.

She said she was happy with her performance. She really conquered the marathon, looking more ecstatic and fired up after the Run.
“I am glad I did it for Revive. I was happy that my dad practised and ran the half-marathon with me,” she said. The Revive Team is very proud of her.

The weather was fantastic, and the huge crowd of supporters, including the Revive team, at the home straight up Deansgate, were elated and jubilant. The atmosphere was great and showed Manchester at its best, days after the arena attack that killed 22 people. “We Stand Together!”
Hattie and her dad joined the tens of thousands of runners who participated in Europe’s largest 10km run and, for the first time, a half-marathon. Many were running for some great causes – including the We Stand Together fund which has so far raised a staggering £1.7million in less than a week, after the terror attack at Manchester Arena.
Hattie smashed her personal fundraising target for Revive. So far, she has raised £660 of the £500 target by 34 supporters via her online Revive Team Fundraising Page.
Hattie has made us proud.
Phoebe, one of Hattie’s many supporters wrote on her Fundraising Page, some minutes after her Run: “Great Girl, Great Guy, Great Cause!!” Another enthusiastic supporter, Oli was gushing with praise, “Smashed it Hattie! Well done!!”
We are proud and happy to be associated with Hattie and her family.
She is and will always be our TREASURE.
